Temple Emanuel Early Childhood Center is a full-time, year-round program, serving children ages 2 -5. It is open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Their Reggio inspired philosophy reflects our deep belief that children are capable and competent and learn best in a rich environment that focuses on the interweaving of cognitive and creative ways of learning. Northern Virginia Hebrew Congregation (NVHC)
NVHC describes itself as a community of learners who strive to make connections with their Jewish identity and struggle to ensure that their children have strong and positive Jewish experiences both socially and educationally.
NVHC will meet beginning in September 2011 on Sundays from 9:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. for K-6th grade, Tuesdays 6:30-8:00 p.m. for 7-12th grade and a one hour choice for Hebrew for 3-6th either Tuesday or Wednesday.
Classes include:

3rd-5th Grades Sundays 9:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. and Hebrew Wed. or Thurs

Temple Bnai Shalom of Fairfax Station
Bnai Shalom of Fairfax Station offers a varied program for children Pre-K-grade 12.
According to Bnai Shalom, the goals of its Religious School is to provide students with a Reform Jewish education. They strive to enrich children's Jewish experience and knowledge so as to strengthen their understanding of God, their identification with the Jewish people, their involvement in the temple and the community, their participation in Jewish life and synagogue worship, and their determination to live as Jews who are engaged and enthusiastic about our religion forever.

Beth Chai
Beth Chai describes itself as a Jewish Humanist Congregation of Greater Washington. It’s a vibrant, independent community drawing its membership from all over the Washington, DC, metropolitan area. Beth Chai offers its members a wide variety of educational and cultural activities and services.

Shalom Education Center
Shalom Education Center describes itself as a Sunday school for Russian Jewish children. Education for children and families is based more on Jewish History and Traditions and less on Judaism. This curriculum was developed for people raised by atheistic society who are not ready to traditional American approach to Jewish education.

Machar Jewish Cultural School
Machar’s Jewish Cultural School describes itself as a program that provides a secular humanistic approach to Jewish holidays, Jewish ethics and values, Jewish history, Israel, social activism, and community service. The school curriculum culminates in a group b’nei mitzvah ceremony, usually in 7th grade, where each student presents a project about a Jewish area of interest, together with supporting Jewish values that contribute to the child’s personal Jewish heritage.

Ohr Kodesh's Alvin Browdy Religious School
