Panim Summer of Impact

Panim Summer of Impact

The PANIM Institute of BBYO offers a variety of travel options through the Summer of IMPACT program that will take you, and your leadership, to new heights. The two week trips take place in Boston, Washington, DC, the American Southwest, and Israel and while each program is unique to their locality, they all focus on creating a community of leaders by being actively engaged in advocacy and hands-on service. The Summer of IMPACT trips can all be paired with traditional BBYO summer travel programs for the summer of a lifetime. Take advantage of the PANIM Institute of BBYO’s unparalleled opportunities with a community of Jewish teens who will become your lifelong friends.

JCCGW Specialty Camp Programs

New this summer! Mitzvah Corps. Camp for entering 7th, 8th and 9th graders. Let the fun begin!

Mitzvah Corps offers a program based on service learning and advocacy.  Campers will explore issues relevant to today’s world, learn advocacy training skills, and make a difference through community service experiences. Each week will focus on a different topic allowing campers to help those in need around Montgomery County, learn from advocacy experts working in DC’s lobbying organizations and commit to Tikkun Olam (repairing the world).  Campers will also enjoy some general camp activities including swim, sports, Shabbat celebrations and special events.  Campers can earn SSL hours.  Space is limited and this program is only offered during session 1 and as a one week intensive at the end of the summer.

North American Federation of Temple Youth’s Mid Atlantic Region

NFTY-MAR, the North American Federation of Temple Youth’s Mid Atlantic Region brings together Reform Jewish Teens from across the mid Atlantic, including North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, and Delaware.

Our members come together six times during the year for learning, fun, worship, community service, and fellowship to help young Jewish adults throughout the region build and strengthen lifetime ties with each other and Reform Judaism.  Each event has a focus, including leadership development, social action, Color Wars, a junior youth “taste of NFTY”, and introspection.  We hold our events at local congregations, as well as at Capital Camps or Camp Harlam.  Led by the elected Regional Board, and guided by the Regional Advisor, NFTY is a warm, welcoming community, and offers a meaningful, engaging, and positive Jewish experience.
