Agency Teen Philanthropy Board Model

In these programs teens engage in meaningful philanthropy with a Jewish lens and build a stronger connection with a local Jewish communal agency.  We are currently working with two agencies: Jewish Foundation for Group Homes (JFGH) and the Hebrew Home of Greater Washington!

  • The Harold and Shirley Robinson H2YP Youth Philanthropy Board at the Hebrew Home of Greater Washington is open to 9th-11th graders and runs from January-May each year. For more information, please contact Lisa Friedman (friedman@hebrew-home.org).

  • Jewish Foundation for Group Homes TOVA Board. JFGH and the Partnership’s JYPI program are launching a teen philanthropy group for 9-12th graders in Northern Virginia that will meet in just six sessions.  Members of the TOVA (Teens of VA) Board will distribute $8,000 in internal grants that fund JFGH programs and services helping people with disabilities in Northern Virginia. Interested and want to learn more about how to get involved? Contact Lisa Gerton at JFGH for details.
