All programs meet on selected Sunday afternoons from their start date through March/April 2012.

Maryland/DC 8th- 9th Grade Opportunities:

Collaborative JYPI Groups
Imagine being told you have $10,000 to give away! How would you decide who to give it to? Join one of the Collaborative JYPI Groups being hosted in your area and get the chance to answer that very question! 

Please use the specific contact information below to get more information on these JYPI groups. While priority registration for each group will go to teens from these congregations, all teens in the community are welcome! 

Maryland/DC 9th-11th Grade Opportunity:

H2YP Youth Philanthropy Board at the Hebrew Home of Greater Washington
Are you a high school student eager to make funding decisions for large local nonprofits like the Hebrew Home of Greater Washington?  Join their teen philanthropy board today! 

Northern Virginia 8th-9th Grade Opportunity:

Collaborative JYPI Group
Imagine being told you have $10,000 to give away! How would you decide who to give it to? Register for the Northern Virginia Collaborative JYPI Group and get the chance to answer that very question!

Beth El Hebrew Congregation, Congregation Adat Reyim, Congregation Beth Emeth, Northern Virginia Hebrew Congregation and Shoreshim are co-sponsoring this hands-on interactive program where teens from around Northern Virginia come together to evaluate grant proposals from local, national and international nonprofits.

  Northern Virginia 9th-12th Grade Opportunity:

Jewish Foundation for Group Homes TOVA Board. JFGH and the Partnership’s JYPI program are launching a teen philanthropy group for 9-12th graders in Northern Virginia that will meet in just six sessions.  Members of the TOVA (Teens of VA) Board will distribute $8,000 in internal grants that fund JFGH programs and services helping people with disabilities in Northern Virginia.
