JYPI 201 is the next step for teens who are interested in expanding their grant making experience. In this exciting program, teens have the opportunity to:
-
Work in small interest-based groups to develop funding priorities and a Request for Proposals (RFP);
-
Research organizations who will be invited to apply for funding consideration;
-
Consider how Jewish values influence giving decisions; and
-
Decide collectively with other teens about the final grant awards being made to a variety of organizations.
JYPI 201 will build on teens existing JYPI experiences in eight Sunday afternoon sessions from October through April.
This program is open to teens who have completed at least one JYPI youth philanthropy group, which also includes the collaborative JYPI groups and the agency groups (i.e. Hebrew Home’s H2YP Group). A facilitator recommendation letter or e-mail is also required. Please contact Michele Duchin at mduchin@pjll.org for the JYPI 201 registration information.
