Temple Shalom Religious Education program describes itself as a diverse, inclusive community of students and families from pre-kindergarten through high school.  We are committed to the education of our children in Jewish history, rituals, culture, Hebrew language and values.  This education will prepare our students  to live a Jewish life of their choosing and to become active members of the Jewish community.

Classes Include:

Pre-K Sundays 8:45-10:45 a.m.

K-2 Sundays 8:45-10:45 a.m. or 11:15 a.m.-1:15 p.m.

3-6 Sundays 8:45 - 10:45 a.m. or 11:15 a.m.-1:15 pm.; Tuesdays or Wednesdays 4:30-6:00 p.m.

7  Sundays 11:15 a.m.-1:15 p.m. or 6:00-8:00 p.m.; Tuesdays or Wednedays 4:30-6:00 p.m. Fall only

Upper School 8th-10th Grade Sundays 6:00-8:00 p.m.

11th, 12th Grade - Twice per month

Special Programs Include:

Tot Shabbat - 4-6 times per year

Retreats/Shabbatonim

Grades 4-5 18 hours

Grade 6 24 hours

Grades 7-10 3 days

Confirmation - New York City Trip -3 days
