You want the D.C. Jewish community of tomorrow to be vibrant and connected. We share your vision and are working to create that future.
The Partnership for Jewish Life and Learning is a team of innovators who understand that today’s challenges won’t be solved by yesterday’s solutions. We are optimistic, resourceful and courageous in confronting our community’s needs. Is it uncomfortable at times? Yes. But we believe our community will not thrive if we do not evolve.
Working with a range of creative, passionate partners, we invite people of all ages to explore their connection to Judaism through hundreds of classes, programs, and events. And our model and the results of our work provide a foundation for lasting change. Our CE21 initiative is impacting thousands of families with innovative, inspiring learning, inside and outside of the classroom and congregation. Our thriving teen philanthropy programs nurture lifelong habits of selflessness and giving. Cultural events, held everywhere from sports arenas to day schools, provide opportunities to discover our rich arts and culture. And we offer online resources to expand our reach even further. Whether you’re a parent in an interfaith household; religious leadership looking for new approaches to time-honored traditions; an empty nester with a wide open future; or a Jewish educator seeking professional development, we invite all to experience the fun and fulfillment of questioning, learning, and living core Jewish values of service to others.
Our bold, inclusive vision moves beyond a focus on the young or old, or only increasing the numbers of affiliated Jews. We believe the Jewish future is ours to create, together.
